We’re on a mission to rekindle hope, rebuild Canada’s queer movement, and change hearts and minds across the country.
Let’s be real: things suck right now. The world is on fire. Rents are going up. Authoritarianism is rising. At the same time, as part of the same crises, 2SLGBTQIA+ RIGHTS ARE UNDER ATTACK.
This is about more than just the queer community. This is about the soul of our society, about democracy, and about what kind of a country we want to live in. In the face of hate, WE NEED TO ORGANIZE, ADVOCATE, AND REBUILD CANADA'S QUEER MOVEMENT.
We’re not sitting by while freedom, acceptance, and democracy die around us. We’re not tapping out when rights are under threat.
That’s why Queer Momentum, TransAction Alberta and Fierte Canada Pride are teaming up for the Trans Canada Tour. With over fifty events across the country, we’re going to organize, advocate and celebrate our way towards a better future - AND YOU CAN TOO.
That’s what the Trans Canada Tour is all about.
This tour features three different types of events, each for a different audience:
Our Queer Movement Townhalls bring local queer communities together to strategize, organize, and build our power. Hear from local movement leaders, develop advocacy action plans and get fired up for the cause.
Ask a Trans Person Anything events are exactly what they sound like: two of Canada’s leading (some would say notorious) trans activists on a stage and in the hot seat for a no-holds-barred, no-questions-off-limits Q&A with audiences across Canada. Controversial questions welcome
And because we know queer joy and culture is where it’s at, we’re hosting Politics with a Drag Queen parties at your favourite gay bar or allied venue across Canada, featuring sickening drag blended with fiery calls to action and short speeches from local movement leaders.

Are you a union, a queer business or local non-profit organization that wants to support the tour?
